Class 4 Laser Verruca Treatment

At Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic our aim is to utilize the latest tools, knowledge, and techniques necessary to provide our patients with the personal relief they need. One treatment option that we admire for its convenience and flexibility is our Class IV laser Remy Laser for Verrucas.

Class 4 laser treatment is used to directly heat the verruca and destroy the vascular supply of the lesion. The laser also works to denature the DNA of the virus. This denaturing process causes the body recognise the tissue as not being part of the body, and as a result the white blood cells of the body’s immune systems will gradually eat it away.

In most cases 2-3 sessions are required to resolve the verruca, stubborn verrucas may require more sessions.
