Booking Policy

For all New Patients:

An appointment for patients who have not previously registered with Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic.

Appointment will include Assessment and Treatment for all general foot care needs, including nail care, corn and callus removal, ingrown toenail management etc. Because your feet are unique, your first appointment involves an extensive foot health assessment with a podiatrist. During this time, we’ll conduct a full medical history and take details of any medication you’re taking, allergies, and any previous chiropody or podiatry treatment you’ve received. We’ll also discuss any concerns or problems you have with your feet. We begin the treatment by examining your feet and lower limbs, looking closely at your skin, nails, and foot alignment with biomechanical tests. Clinical musculoskeletal, vascular, neurological and dermatological tests may be provided based on your foot condition along with suitable treatment. Please note basic treatment is provided at the initial consultation if warranted and in some cases an appropriate consultation and treatment plan is provided only.

At Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic we require Pre-payment for your first appointment in advance of the appointment.

The cost will be: £65

Payment for this initial appointment must be made online before visiting the clinic.

Please note a written report of your physical or video consultation is not standard and would entail an additional charge.

If a ultrasound scan is carried out in clinic this will be used as a clinical guide only and no reports will be made available.

Cancellation Policy

Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic operates a cancellation policy, our policy is similar to many other medical clinics and we kindly ask all patients to adhere to it.

When an appointment has been made for you, the time is allotted to specifically see you, and we are unable to fill this time slot at short notice.

As such, we request that you give us at least 24 hours notice by phone/ email if you are unable to attend your appointment. A refund will not be credited if this is not adhered to.

If you fail to attend your appointment and you have not given us notice, a full treatment fee will be charged.

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will see you for the remaining period of your allotted appointment slot, but your full appointment fee will stand. We would strongly advise you to arrive 10 minutes before your allotted appointment slot and visit the bathroom beforehand to avoid reduced treatment time.

Missed Appointments

Failure to attend the clinic for a pre booked appointment without providing notification 24 hours prior to the appointment will results in a missed appointment charge the equivalent value of the scheduled appointment.

PRIVACY POLICY

We value your privacy and want you to understand how Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic uses your information. To that end we’ve updated our privacy policy to make sure you have current and accurate information about Dr Foot Podiatry Clinic privacy practice, and ways you can control how your information is used through our services. By entering your details in our online booking system to make an appointment to visit the clinic you consent to communication via Email which includes appointment reminders, communication regarding treatment and email newsletters (these are sent once a month) as well as SMS messages.
